All scholarly manuscripts should adhere to the following guideline:

  1. Articles may be either full research papers (maximum 5000 words), or as articles in brief (maximum 2000 words), or review papers (maximum 4000 words).
  1. Articles should include:
    (a) title;
    (b) author name/s;
    (c) current position/affiliation;
    (d) brief biography (maximum 100 words);
    (e) email address; and
    (f) a brief abstract (maximum 250 words) with five keywords reflecting the contents of paper.
  1. Articles should be:
    (a) Double-spaced, 12-point type, Times New Roman.
    (b) The first page should only contain the running title of the article.
    (c) The second page should include the full title of the article and the names and contact information of all authors. It should clearly state the corresponding author. The names of the authors must be abbreviated following the international naming conventione.g. Abdullah, Z., Tan, L.C., or Salleh, M.H.
    (d) The third page should repeat the full title of the article and contain the abstract and keywords but no author information.
    (e) Page four onwards should contain the introduction and the rest of the article.
    (f) Articles should be written in accordance with the American Psychological Association (APA) style, 7th Edition.
    (g) Authors are required to use the style template (Style Sheet Template). Format the manuscript accordingly before submission.
  1. All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter detailing what you are submitting and confirming the originality of the submission. Papers are accepted for publication in the journal on the understanding that the article is original and the content has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. 
  1. Turnitin check will be conducted on articles submitted to this journal. The maximum percentage for Turnitin is 30%.
  1. Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from copyright holders for reproducing previously published material, including charts, graphs, photos, tables, etc.
  1. Authors should consider including links to any references, web pages, or sites related to their work (this is a strong advantage of electronic publications).
  1. Authors are expected to edit and proofread their work before submission.
  1. Articles that do not conform to the abovestated submission guideline will be returned to the author/s for revisions.
  1. Manuscripts submitted will go through a double-blind review process while other submissions such as book review, article, in brief, will be reviewed by the Editors and Language Editors.
  1. The authors are advised to use the same article file throughout the editorial process. This is to avoid any technical errors or confusions along the process.
